Excellent place to get some food when in a hurry. Their customer service is efficient, prices are fair, awesome vibes. Will visit here again

Me and my family have always come here for interesting and delicious sushi.

A friend told me about this place, it is so much better than any other sushi place in redding hands down! went for my normal dragon roll and they had a spicey version called the death roll and it was amazing. 10 of 10 will recommend and ill be back here as much as i can afford to be lol.

Went to this place and the sign said open but ,on the door note said closed until further notice, I was really excited to eat here because it was so close and the price was excellent. I was really disappointed.

The food was alright but the service wasnt the best.

Changed my rating from 5 stars to 3. Great food but the service is getting worse and worse. Wait times are ridiculous and servers are clearly overwhelmed. Makes me sad because I loved this place but three bad experiences in a row is enough for me to take a break.

The wait time could be better but working In a kitchen and cooking myself (not sushi) I can tell you that it's well worth the wait. I usually go in with a friend and get 2 chef speciality rolls each. Typically takes 15-25 minutes for what we get, which is not bad. Staff is friendly. good atmosphere & lots of space. Doesnt feel crammed like other sushi restaurants. Lots on the menu, and the best part is that there are pictures of the sushi on the menu which gives you a look into what you're getting. I end up finding myself coming back twice, maybe three times a month. Definatly my top spot as far as sushi goes.

The sushi here was pretty good, I wouldn't say the best in town. But it does seem to have a lower price than Tokyo Garden. The service wasn't on top of getting things done, and there was a bit of a wait. But it would definitely be average for most restaurants on service. Not extraordinary and not bad. I will probably come back here again if I'm in this area of town and want sushi so I would recommend here, I'm not entirely sure about the rest of their menu though.

Awesome sushi! Very fresh and appealing too. From the moment you walk in and sit down there is a good atmosphere. The menu is packed full with multiple types of sushi and other combo meals. The one thing about the menu I like is that every item of sushi they have for sale is shown in there in color so you physically see what you're getting. My favorite roll is a tempura roll called the "Rose Roll". It has shrimp, cucumber, avocado, crab, topped with tuna and salmon. :) Next time you are craving sushi, I highly recommend this place!

Quick, fancy and yummy.

Long story short. Good sushi because I know the sushi chef. However, I used to work here a year ago and every time I come in, I am not greeted, not given a menu or even given water. They refuse to take my order. I am completely ignored and I think it’s rude that I am treated this way just because I used to work here. Hope that this will change some day but I doubt it.

Great place, fresh, fresh fish, delicious and not to mention there was pages of choices for rolls! Maybe my third time here, but it hits the spot for me! It is a must check out! I have had others in town that were good to ok but this place is great! The owner was nice and fast.

I have been coming here since the original owners and sad to say that this was probably my last visit. It's just too expensive come on guys like rediculous. And there loosing so much business to there competition because of it, just unfortunate... I'm still giving 3 stars cause the food is good and I like the staff.

Great spot to go for a quick sushi fix in Glendale/Mont rose area. Service is great and the food is fresh and amazing. My favorite item on the menu is the Albacore Carpaccio, a very refreshing dish.

Placed a to go order payed $60 for not that much food plus I didnt get my whole order. I should've checked more thoroughly before I left, but that is ridiculous when they read me back my order and the place wasnt busy at all. Also the food wasn't very satisfying to eat. Feels like a waste of money. 🤷 Probably not gonna go back

Great people when you go out of your way to talk to staff and comparatively to the other three main Japanese Restaurants in town, it is the best.

Spot on! Ordered octopus and cucumber with tempura. The tempura was good. Just didnt like the carrot slab i recieved but as for the sake. Oh my goodness that is some fine sake! Smooth to the palate. Wasabi wasnt real. You can taste the horseradish. But it still was spot on for sushi there for the area its in. Keep it up.

Decent place and they are pretty friendly. I asked for tuna poki and the guy gave me his that he made special (spicey) to try out and decide if I wanted mine that way.

I absolutely love Kampai sushi 😜 Their rolls are always fresh and tasty and tonight I actually ordered a meal with the sushi rolls and it comes with some potstickers deep fried zucchini mushrooms and other stuff too it is all very very tasty Everyone should try

Delicious sushi! The ginger was so fresh and avocado was perfectly ripe. Service was quick and friendly at a downtime. I highly recommend this sushi! Of course I'm a fan of California rolls and not the super fancy stuff but it was filling, fresh and tasty. I would come back.

I loved the food, & they were fast! I had clinicals for my nursing program, and needed something nearby to make it through the day. I got lucky they were nearby where I was scheduled to be at. I live about an 1 1/2 away from Redding. Great customer service! 🙌🏼Family business, hard working people. ❤️The owner was so sweet too. They also have a bigger room with a TV, for big events. I ordered the Dragon Roll and Chicken Udon Noodles. It was tasty and filling. 😋Love this little place. Great find. 💃🏻😊

I was worried when I got there and only saw one waitress, and one cook and a sushi guy. I placed a to go order, and they executed it beautifully! Poor girl was running though. Packaged to go exactly the way someone would want it. And tasted even better! Thank you!!!

Amazing sushi I don't know why I have not been here before today loves it restaurant was nice and clean staff was nice and friendly! Not to mention the grade of sushi you get for the price is awesome I couldn't just order one roll they have such an extensive menu and they have also adapted to social distancing and everything else for those of you that are concerned all in all they just got a new customer that's going to be blowing them up all the time and the best price I live less than a mile away lol highly recommend if you like sushi just go by there but they also offer a lot of other products as well and if you're not a sushi fan regardless check them out it's worth it it really is¡!!!!

We love Sam the owner. Food is fresh. We always sit at the sushi bar we always like to get to know the people that are me making our food. Been going there for years it's always nice to see it full of people especially since they expanded.

Gotta say... Not impressed... Service was mediocre at best and how do you not know how to make a California roll? Never forget the crab!

We like the Monkey roll. Did not have the greatest experience with the raw sushi.

Love me some good sushi! A little more expensive than some other places but GREAT quality, and fresh seafood!
